The young Albatross

Another Reach creation, this one's a bit more chibi than the others though.

Here we have Jennifer Cygnus, she can't be more than 17 or 18 in this shot. Make no mistake though, she has a mean sword swing. At a young age, this girl sprouted(offscreen) wings and was taken under training to better use her powers by affiliates of Reach City's 'Guardian' Program. She excelled more than you'd expect a simple girl from the south west and her career in crime fighting is very quickly going to be under way.

The armor is a bit of a compromise between outfit and something that will actually prevent her death. She enjoys swordplay but the knight motif was the idea of her superior. While she'll eventually shed it, her wings can carry the extra weight adequately and Titanium alloy for the main plates help her survive some nasty imapacts that would otherwise do a number on her avian physique, and it's topped over with a kevlar weave dipped in some nice red dye. Though she's thinking of switching it out for Nomex, since she's been dealing with fires more than guns. More on that later though, doesn't she just look so cute?
